Malcolm Byrne has issued a statement regarding the assault he experienced during a personal trip to London last Thursday.
The Wicklow/Wexford TD mentioned that while he will be wearing a collar and sling as a result of his injuries, he plans to stay actively engaged in his work on national policy.
He also pointed out that mobile phone theft is growing issue.
