Stephen Quinn's Wexford Youths missed the opportunity to climb to fifth place in the Women's Premier Division yesterday evening, as Cork City left with a point following a one-all draw.
In perfect playing conditions in Wexford, the home side could not make it six points from six against the Munster outfit, as Danny Murphy's group remained resolute.
All over at Ferrycarrig Park.
Points shared.

Wexford began the brighter of the two sides, with Rianna Jarrett coming close to breaking the deadlock after seven minutes of play.
Ceola Bergin was impressive on her debut, and her consistent attacking threat caused a continuous threat.
Quinn's side did make their early pressure pay when the in-form Emily Corbet finished a sublime passage of individual play to hammer home after 21 minutes.

Wexford continued to press for a second and came close through Corbet and Jarrett on two occasions.
Approaching half-time, the visitors levelled against the run of play, with Shaunagh McCarthy stunning the home crowd after 41 minutes.

The second half was dominated by the women from the South East, with Jarrett somehow not finding the back of the net.
Several other opportunities fell to Freya De Mange and Kylie Murphy, but Abby McCarthy stood tall in the Cork net throughout.
The game ended 1-1, with Wexford sitting in sixth position and eleven points off leaders Peamount.
Thanks to everyone for the support at Ferrycarrig this evening.
