Waterford TD Mary Butler has announced that she is cancer free.
The Junior Health Minister was diagnosed with an isolated carcinoma earlier this year.
Taking to Twitter, she said, "This is one of the good days, got the all clear. All done, no further action [is] required. I’m blessed."

The positive news follows an unsuccessful procedure the Fianna Fáil TD underwent in June to remove cancer from the bridge of her nose.
Deputy Butler had a second surgery in September and has since been recovering at her home.
According to an Irish Examiner report from October this year, Mary has been awaiting an appointment to see a dermatologist, having been referred by her GP in January.
However, while representing the Government in Brussels on St Patrick’s Day this year, an Irish doctor asked her if she realised she had a basal cell carcinoma on her nose.
Speaking to the Examiner at the time, Deputy Butler said: “I have a basal cell carcinoma on the nasal bridge, the diagnosis was confirmed in April.
“It’s the first time I had a full anaesthetic in my life, on my birthday too last Thursday.
“I had a procedure under local anaesthetic in June but unfortunately it wasn’t successful.
“I will have results in four weeks’ time but the consultant is very confident that it’s an isolated basal cell carcinoma with no spread.”
