A crowd of 7.250 spectators made their way to UPMC Nowlan Park for the doubleheader semi-final day, which ended in joy for Waterford and Cork.
The results on the day see Cork into a third final in as many years, with Waterford heading to HQ for the first outing since 1945.

Seán Power's side were forced to recover from a poor start against Tipperary, with Beth Carton earning a deserved player-of-the-match award for her heroics.
Carton contributed eight points on the day, with half coming from play. The superstar will hope to build on that performance in Sunday's showpiece fixture (August 6).
Another standout performer on that famous day was Mairéad Power - juggling her playing duties with an expert marking task on Premier sensation Karen Kennedy.
Her 25th-minute goal largely accelerated the Déise fightback, ultimately seeing them prevail by a score of 1-12 to 1-11 to seal a date with sporting destiny.
