A section of road outside Clonmel, Co. Tipperary remains closed this afternoon following an incident earlier today, Monday, November 21st.
The road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.
Local media reports that the incident is understood to have involved a single motorcyclist.
The R689 between Fethard and Lisronagh currently has diversions in place.

It's understood the incident happened near the Moylerovers to Listronagh stretch of the road.
The diversions will remain in place for a number of hours.
