This guy who found himself in an awkward situation when he had one-too-many dates lined up for his upcoming debs in August.
This was the email
"Well Emma :)
In 6th year, debs coming up in August.
Me and my best friend (who is a girl) decided years ago that we'd go to the debs together. She's my next door neighbour and our Mothers would be great friends. We were literally in nappies together.
Anyway, we haven't hung out in ages cause I started going out with my girlfriend in December. I asked her to my debs over the weekend and she said yes. My girlfriend is in 5th year and is buzzing for the debs, it's her first one and she's getting a dress this weekend.
Anyway, I had totally forgot about my pact with my friend and I got this snapchat from her last night with a picture of this fancy and expensive looking red dress saying 'make sure you get a tie that matches this colour buddy! Must catch up soon!' This dress looked frickin' expensive.
I thought it was pretty much an unwritten rule that if I'm goin' with someone the pact if off.. no? Don't wanna upset either of them. :/ what do I do?"
