WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are all down.
The three apps, which are owned by Facebook, stopped working shortly before 5pm.
WhatsApp has tweeted to say it's aware that some people are experiencing issues, and they’re working to get things back to normal.

While Facebook tweeted a similar statement about the issue:
