Twitter Articles is a new experimental feature that will let Twitter users write longer texts.
The company started with a 140 character limit but raised it to 280 in 2017.
It introduced continuous threads in 2020 so that users could attach multiple tweets to the same conversation.
Increasing the character limit and allowing articles will let Twitter compete with blogging platforms like Medium.
