Revolut has launched a brand-new feature that makes it even easier to send money to your mates.
The popular fintech has issued a handy update to the application which has added the all-new 'Revolut Chat' feature.
Designed in a similar fashion to Insta's DM function, you can now directly message and chat with other Revolut users before requesting funds.
The aim of the chat feature is to make money transfers seem less awkward and 'demanding'.
Hi there! To access the instant messaging feature, you simply need to enter the ‘Transfer’ section in Revolut app. The chat window will open right after tapping on one of the contacts.

To use this feature, Revolut users just have to head to the 'Transfer' section of the app where a chat window will open displaying their contacts.
Commenting on the update, Revolut CEO Nikolay Storonsky, said: "We’re delighted to bring instant messaging to our customers, moving us one step closer to being a global financial superapp. We listened to our customers who said they wanted to be able to discuss and clarify payment details within the app, rather than having to swap between Revolut and different messaging apps to send or receive funds.
"The new chat feature supports our customers with their fast, low-cost money transfers using Revolut. We want to give our customers more control over their financial well-being through the use of our technology, offering a service that addresses all their financial needs in one place."
Like the sound of this? Customers will have to update to version 8.72 to avail of the feature.
