SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick have joined President-elect Trump’s Strategic and Policy Forum.
They will regularly meet with the soon-president to advise on business issues.
The announcement suggests a new link between the president-elect and Silicon Valley, which has been generally wary of the Trump presidency.
This week’s announcement also comes just ahead of a planned meeting at Trump Tower between tech industry leaders and Trump, which Musk is set to attend.

Joining him will be Apple CEO Tim Cook, Alphabet CEO Larry Page, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
