Hey all, Stephen here.
This week on Sportsbeat Roundup we've five pairs of tickets to give away to the Goff Thyestes Chase Day at Gowran Park on Thursday January 21st.
The Thyestes Handicap Chase is one of the biggest annual races in the South East and is usually a great indicator of form ahead of the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National. The winners of the last two Thyestes Chases has gone on to finish as a runner-up in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
We'll be previewing the race itself with trainers John 'Shark' Hanlon and Gordon Elliott, and Gowran Park racecourse manager Eddie Scally.
We'll also be checking in with the Wexford Youths as preparations for their first ever season in the Airtricity League Premier Division hit full swing, and we'll look ahead to one of the biggest football games in the world this weekend, the huge meeting of Liverpool v Man United at Anfield.
Talk to you at 5.30!
