Raymond van Barneveld is safely through to the third round at the PDC World Championship.
The former champion beat Ryan Meikle 3-1 at Alexandra Palace last night, in what was his 30th World Championships appearance as a professional.

Next up for van Barneveld is a meeting with Gerwyn Price and an opportunity to repeat his recent success at the Grand Slam of Darts.
Elsewhere on the night, it wasn't meant to be for Fallon Sherrock, after she fell to a 3-1 loss to Ricky Evans.
'The Queen of the Palace' won the opening set and looked calm. Ultimately, she was left to rue a string of missed opportunities as she fell in the first round for the second successive year.
Speaking afterwards said has vowed to ‘come back stronger’ from this defeat.
"Hopefully all these experiences will help me become a better player."
