Saturday, January 21 will mark a memorable day and night in the history of Wexford GAA and the town of Wexford.
For the very first time, the new floodlight system in Chadwicks Wexford Park will shine a light on an intercounty spectacle.
Wexford takes on Leinster rivals Kilkenny in the Walsh Cup at 6 pm, with a curtain-raiser beforehand, in the form of a school match at 4 pm.
Over 12,000 tickets sold for Wexford-Kilkenny in Walsh Cup next Saturday at 6pm, first game under floodlights in Wexford Park.

More than 12,000 tickets have been sold ahead of the massively anticipated event.
The evening will include a fireworks display and a light show, with the new lighting system the first in any GAA ground to have this capability.
Anticipation has been building throughout the County, with supporters regularly taking to social media to share their pictures of Wexford Park illuminated.
