An official Wexford statement reads: "Wexford FC travel to Richmond Park to face St Patrick’s Athletic for the opening clash in both sides’ 2023 Leinster Senior Cup campaigns.
"St Pat’s saw great success in the Leinster Senior Cup in the last iteration of the competition, going the whole way and winning the title in 2019.
"This Wexford side will likely fancy themselves against their Premier Division opponents, with memories of last season’s FAI Cup victory against Sligo Rovers undoubtedly remaining fresh in the mind of any player involved.
"Irrespective of the victor, the winner of this fourth-round match-up will go on to face either Dundalk or Shelbourne FC in the quarter-final of the competition. The game will take place on Tuesday the 31st of January at 7.45 pm."
The Leinster Senior Cup holds the prestige of being the oldest association football cup competition in the Republic of Ireland.
Organised by the Leinster Football Association, the tournament is contested by League of Ireland clubs, Leinster Senior League Senior Division clubs and select teams invited from various junior leagues.

Unfortunately, Rangers lost out to Usher Celtic by a scoreline of 4-2.
