A club statement read: "We are delighted to welcome new signing Aaron Doran from Bohemians!
"A young Portlaoise man, Doran is a talented young central midfielder who rose through the ranks of the academy teams at Bohemians/St. Kevin's Boys.
"After signing a professional contract with them at age 18 in 2021, he was part of the Enda McGuill cup-winning side in 2022 with Bohemians.
"He also made a number of senior appearances in the 2021 and 2022 seasons with Bohs and scored his first senior goal in Boh's FAI Cup win over College Corinthians in 2021.
"Doran now makes the switch to Wexford FC for the 2023 season, and is James Keddy's sixth confirmed signing for the new season!"
Keddy is assembling an exciting side, combining a mixture of experience and youth with a passion to play in Wexford.
Karl Chambers arrived at the club three days ago, supplying steel in the centre of the park.
Chambers followed in the footsteps of Ben Lynch, Mark Hanratty and Aaron Robinson, in making the switch from rivals Longford Town.
Keddy served as assistant manager in Longford in the previous campaign and has identified a clear characteristic in the player required to challenge for promotion.
Speaking with Shaun Connolly about his ambitions for the 2023 campaign, the new manager identified a desire for experience down the spine of the team.
"A team is made up of different characters and different players," he said.
"For the different positions, I'm looking for a little bit of experience down the spine of the team.
"My team will be very organised and very disciplined."
