Wayne Rooney is set for a return to management with his former club, according to reports.
The England legend left Derby County last month, following a troublesome period at the club, and looks set to make an immediate return with DC United.
England’s record goalscorer spent a year-and-a-half playing for the Washington-based club, scoring 25 times and helping DC earn a place in the 2019 play-offs.

If reports are correct, he will take over a DC United side who have been without a permanent head coach since the dismissal of Hernan Losada in April.
Chad Ashton has been in interim charge and the MLS side currently sit second-from-bottom in the Eastern Conference table.
