Waterford United have released a statement this lunchtime confirming talkover talks.
The statement reads:
Waterford United Football Club can confirm negotiations with an overseas based individual regarding a take over of the club are ongoing.
A spokesman for the club said they are happy with the way the talks are going and they hope to be in a position to announce details of the deal early next week
