Waterford United are looking for a new manager after parting company with Roddy Collins.
Collins took over in May of last year, but the club continued to struggle both on and off the pitch.
The Dublin native's last game in charge was an 8-1 home defeat against UCD.
Collins' departure was confirmed in a short statement from the SSE Airtricity First Division club yesterday evening:
"The club would like to thank Roddy for his efforts over the last 18 months and wish him the best of luck in the future.
"The club has no further comment on the matter at this time. An announcement will be made in relation to first team management in due course."
The move comes just two weeks after Roddy Collins claimed that an international business consortium had expressed interest in the club.
The Blues are currently sixth of eight teams in the First Division after shipping 18 goals in their last five games.
