Waterford FC have added to yesterday's signing of Alex Baptiste by way of two further additions - Raúl Uche and Timi Sobowale.
The signatures set forward a serious marker by new owner Andy Pilley and solidify his intention to drive for promotion.
Uche moves to Ireland after most recently playing for Salamanca CF UDS in Spain, and for Atletico Ottawa in Canada.
The young forward began his career at Rayo Vallecano before moving to former English Premier League Champions Leicester City in 2016 at the age of 18.
He was a regular in The Foxes’ Under-23s and played in the Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy – where he featured against Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium in the 2-2 draw in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The versatile and quick striker moved to Spanish La Liga side Real Valladolid in 2020 where he scored seven goals in 23 appearances.
