There is a meeting of the Waterford County board taking place tonight, as speculation increases on the next senior hurling manager.
The meeting at Lawlor’s Hotel in Dungarvan has been called by the Waterford GAA executive.
The expectation is that they are set to reveal the successor to Liam Cahill in the managerial hot-seat.
According to a report in the Irish Examiner yesterday, talks between the county executive and Davy Fitzgerald have intensified in recent days.

The four-man selection committee tasked with finding the manager have been extremely tight-lipped thus far.
Despite this, all arrows are pointing to Fitzgerald returning.
