Cork will be hoping to bounce back after consecutive defeats against Limerick and Clare.
The previous meeting between the sides saw Waterford run out victors in the Division 1 league decider.
Waterford will be looking to respond after a hotly contested meeting with Limerick, losing out marginally by a puck of a ball.
Speaking after the game, Waterford boss Liam Cahill said: “Look, this Limerick team, it’s going to be very hard to try and unlock them."
"As to what the strategy is to beat them. They’re a very decent outfit.
"You can’t afford to be butchering chances the way we were doing, you just can’t against the top class opposition."
Throw in is at 2 PM on Sunday.
