Craig Breen has finished second in Rally Sweden.
It's a career-best for the Slieverue man and the highest ever finish achieved by a driver from the Republic of Ireland in a World Rally event.

Craig is a former South East Sports Personality of the Year.
He guided his Citroen car through the final stages to achieve the second podium finish of his career.
Speaking after the race, he said “I'm not going to cry this time. It's awesome. I'm absolutely on top of the world, a big stepping stone this weekend. I have to thank every single person around me. The boys have made this thing work. It's pure pleasure right now."
Even with county bias aside, for a rally driver from Republic of Ireland to finish 2nd in any WRC event - never mind one like Sweden - is an absolutely incredible achievement. Never been done before according to @SeanMcGoldrick1
