Elsewhere, Clare v Cork at 1:30 pm on Sunday has been moved to Kilmurry Ilbrickane GAA Club, Quilty.
Eager fans who are unable to travel will be able to watch both games live on Munster GAA TV.
The GAA's O'Byrne Cup has also suffered a fresh blow with the news of Carlow's withdrawal from this weekend's clash with Laois.
Due to Sigerson Cup commitments, injuries and sickness, it had been advised that Carlow can't fulfil the weekend fixture.
The fixture had already been rescheduled from midweek, and it's the third game of the competition that's been cancelled due to a team opting out of a game.
