The FAI has announced UEFA's Noel Mooney is to take up a six-month secondment with the Football Association of Ireland.
Also, Rea Walshe is to take up the role of Chief Operating Officer where she will continue to lead the process of Governance and Reform.
Mr Mooney will start the secondment on June 3 as the FAI builds for the future and continues to work in partnership with key stakeholders to achieve good governance.
He will spend six months with the organisation in the role before returning to UEFA on November 30.

He will assess the FAI's requirements and will co-ordinate future support and expertise in finance and other areas from UEFA and FIFA.
