Pre-tournament favorite, Neil Robertson, has been beaten by Jack Lisowski in a 'crucible classic'.
Entering the final session of the back-and-forth affair, Robertson trailed by 9-7 and needed to dig deep.
He did so in emphatic fashion - reeling off 4 frames on the bounce, putting him on the brink of victory.
The Australian, tipped by many to lift the trophy for the second time, solidified his imperious form by sealing a magnificent 147 during this run.

Lisowski was not interested in adhering to this script, however, and leveled at 12-12 - increasing the tension in the arena.
Lisowski triumphed in a final-frame decider to setup a last-eight meeting with veteran John Higgins.
