This Saturday July 16th marks the return of the St. Ibars/Shelmaliers camogathon, which is set for throw in at 1 PM on the day.
This camogathon will be a fun-filled 20 hours of non-stop camogie action.
The club and their patrons would like to invite all those in their community areas to come along to their club at Hollymount.
The aim of the event is to allow the St. Ibars Shelmalier club to give back to the community, who supply so much support to the club.
The community camogathon also aims to provide a fun day out for all families in the community and wider area.
There will be fun activities for all to enjoy, seeing first-hand the amazing camogie skills of the Shelamliers girls and players.
The event aims to empower and encourage more young girls to try something unique and new, as well as helping them to learn a new skill.
The grounds will close to the public at 9 PM but the camogie ladies will continue to hurl through the night, until the final whistle at 9 AM on July 17th.
All are invited to come along and enjoy a fun day out.
