Rory McIlroy is hoping to maintain his momentum from his Canadian Open victory last weekend as he aims to end his eight-year spell without a major trophy.
Brookline plays host to the 122nd U.S. Open, with action getting underway just before lunchtime.
The Northern Irishman is the Bookies favourite heading into the competition, as he aims to recapture the title, that he last won in 2011.

Speaking before the day's action commences, the County Down native believes he's in good enough form to repeat his success 11 years ago.
"My game's feeling good," he said.
"I really am in a good place with everything.
"It's just a matter of not getting in my own way and not overthinking it.
"I need to go out and trust in my ability and if I do that I'll hopefully reproduce the golf you saw last week."
Going to be a great week for sports in Boston. I have two tickets to the @usopengolf, tickets to the @RedSox game and this signed bag for one lucky Boston fan. Retweet to win. pic.twitter.com/VrREqvXCKn
