It's been announced that Pep Guardiola will take over the reigns of Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Spaniard announced his intention to leave Bayern Munich recently, leading to speculation that he'd take over at either Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea.
But it's been confirmed by the club that the 45-year old former Barcelona manager will take over from Manuel Pellegrini on a three-year contract at the end of the season.
Guardiola boasts an impressive record as a manager, winning two Champions League titles and three La Liga trophies with Barcelona, as well as two Bundesliga titles with Bayern.
The Premier League club released a statement on the appointment this afternoon
'The contract is for three years. These negotiations were a re-commencement of discussions that were curtailed in 2012. Out of respect for Manuel Pellegrini and the players, the Club wishes to make its decision public to remove the unnecessary burden of speculation.
'Manuel, who is fully supportive of the decision to make this communication, is entirely focused on achieving his targets for the season ahead and retains the respect and commitment of all involved with the leadership of the Club.'
