It's been a frustrating season for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton.
In what has been far below expectation, Mercedes have gradually grown in to understanding their underperforming car.
Recently, the team have been bringing upgrades in a bid to boost performance and increase Hamilton's chances in his landmark 300th Grand Prix.

Recent races have seen a much-improved pace and this has seen Hamilton change his tone, even flirting with the prospect of first victory this season.
Speaking before this weekend's French Grand Prix, Hamilton was pressed as to whether he would be in the hunt: "I hope so, that's what were all working toward," he said.
"I'm working towards getting that win and I do believe at some stage we will be able to compete with these guys, whether that's this weekend or in five races time.
"The journey is the important part."
He later added: "I really don't know what to expect this weekend."

One notable factor this weekend is Mercedes bringing a re-designed nose to Paul Ricard, which appears to be flatter and could be focused at reducing drag - with the team known to be chasing a straight-line speed boost.
