A spokesman for the court confirmed bail had been granted, with special conditions ensuring that no contact to be made with witnesses, including the complainant, and to reside at an address in Bowdon.
As reported by BBC News, the forward had been on bail since January until his arrest at the weekend for an alleged breach of the conditions imposed.
Mr. Greenwood did not appear in court for the short hearing today.
The offences relate to a period between November 2018 and October 2022, where he is alleged to have made threatening and derogatory comments towards the complainant.
The charge of assault for actual bodily harm is said to have taken place in December 2021.
