"Some are lost in the fire; others are built from it"
Waterford's Theatre Royal plays host to "The Rebirth" kickboxing event on July 30.
The event also holds a special cause, with 14% of every ticket sold going toward the Oasis House Women’s Refuge.
The Rebirth will be attended by a local and national mixed audience, with competitors from Dublin, Carlow, Limerick, Wexford, Meath and of course Waterford.
For the first time at an amateur kickboxing event Inside Out Care, a professional cut team, will be on site ensuring the fighters hands are protected correctly.
The event will also feature an onsite doctor and accompanying ambulance and first aid response.
The event will showcase the best Irish talent kickboxing has to offer along with 2 local fighters hoping to obtain their first Irish title on the night.
The first fight will start at 6 pm sharp and the last fight should be in the ring at approximately 9:10 pm.
Tickets are available through the theatre royal box office and will cost €25. €3.50 is going directly to Oasis house.
