Liverpool booked their third Champions League final in five seasons after a traumatic night for the travelling support.
The Merseysiders secured a 3-2 victory against Spanish side Villarreal, meaning they progressed with a score-line of 5-2 on aggregate.
The score-line would suggest it was plain-sailing for Jurgen Klopp's side - it was anything but!

On a night where the task was simple, the 'yellow submarine' were not keen to play along.
Boosted by the return of Gerard Moreno, the home side was aggressive in their play and Liverpool simply failed to respond.
Liverpool were overrun in midfield and the inconsistency was transferred to their passing - which was poor to say the least.
Villarreal opened the scoring after 3 minutes through Boulaye Dia and this boosted an already partisan crowd.
Having controlled most of the half, a late contentious penalty decision was avoided - much to the joy of the travelling support.
Two minutes later, Villarreal doubled their lead through Francis Coquelin.

The half-time introduction of Luis Diaz was the catalyst for a Liverpool revival.
The January acquisition has been a remarkable signing and has been the brightest light for Liverpool in 2022.
The visitors attacked from the kick-off and the Spanish side seemed happy to sit and absorb.
Liverpool turned home three goals in twelve minutes - aided and abetted by a distinctly average goal-keeping display from Geronimo Rulli.
The win see's the Merseysiders into their third final of the season, having won the Carabao Cup and waiting the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
