Wexford Youths' Rianna Jarrett has been named Player of the year at the Continental Tyres Womens National League awards night.
Jarrett had tough competition from fellow Youths players Kylie Murphy and Lauren Dwyer, who were named in the team of the season.
The Irish international had a great playing season scoring 27 goals in the National league alone.
However, in the Ireland-Poland friendly just a few weeks ago, Jarrett fractured a bone in her foot, putting her out of action up until the FAI cup final last weekend.
Rianna spoke to Debbie Ridgard on this evenings SportsBeat Roundup about the award as well as the 2018 season.
