Gameweek 24 in the League of Ireland First Division is nearly upon us, as the promotion playoffs are in focus for Wexford FC and Waterford FC.
With Galway United continuing their dominating assault on the division, the chasing pack have largely had to focus on maintaining their playoff status.
For Wexford, the opportunity to end the weekend in a valuable playoff spot is a distinct possibility as they welcome a promotion rival to Ferrycarrig Park.

James Keddy has been preparing his side for a meeting with Treaty United, knowing that a victory would increase their winning run to three while also generating a four-point lead over the Limerick side.
Momentum has been a critical issue for Keddy's side this year, and their away form has been more consistent than games played in the South East.
His sides will be looking to end that on Friday evening (July 28) at 7:45 pm while also generating breathing space over tomorrow night's opponents.
Wexford are currently placed one position below the playoff spots but are within one game of fifth-placed Bray Wanderers and only two points adrift.
Ian Ryan's Bray makes the agonising trip to Galway for a fixture against John Caulfield's men.
The action is set for 7:45 pm in Ferrycarrig Park on Friday, July 28.

Following a draw at the RSC against Longford in their last outing, the Blues will be keen to return to winning ways and keep Caulfield's side on their toes at the top of the table.
