A Kilkenny GAA team paid a touching tribute to their former teammate as they visited his grave with their championship-winning trophy.
Erin's Own won the U21 B Kilkenny hurling title decider against Lisdowney 4-11 to 2-08 at Nolan Park shortly before Christmas.
Nicky Connolly passed away on June 18th last, and with the former teammate on their minds, the panel ensured his memory wouldn't be forgotten in what was a quality gesture.
