Kevin Magnussen will return to Formula One this year ahead of the 2022 season opener in Bahrain.

The Danish driver will join Mick Schumacher at Haas, after getting released from the same team at the end of the 2020 season.
It follows the departure of Russian driver Nikita Mazepin who was released from his contract with Haas following his country's invasion of Ukraine

The Russian driver created a new foundation today to help athletes who have been blocked from competing for political reasons.
On Twitter, Mazepin said:

Russian company Uralkali has requested a refund from Haas after the Formula One team terminated its sponsorship deal amid the war in Ukraine.
The potash producer says it's already paid for the upcoming season and wants that money back.
