Waterford's own Jack O'Donoghue could be nominated for European Rugby Player of the Year for the 2021/22 season.
The Munster flanker has impressed with the Reds this year, named as captain for a number of United Rugby Championship games and has scored two tries in the province's three Champions Cup games thus far.
The 27-year-old also became the youngest Munster player to reach the 150-cap landmark last month.
The winner of the award, which is in its 12th season, will receive the Anthony Foley Memorial Trophy in memory of the former Munster Rugby Head Coach and captain.
O'Donoghue is Munster's only representative, whilst also in the running are Leinster's Caelan Doris, Jimmy O'Brien, and Josh van der Flier. While Ulster's Michael Lowry rounds off the Irish nominations.
Irish players Ronan O'Gara, Seán O'Brien and Rob Kearney won the first three EPCR Player of the Year awards, however Kearney's win in 2012 was the last by a provincial player.
