Portsmouth manager Danny Cowley is dumbfounded with the decision to omit Gavin Bazunu from the League One Team of the Year.
Bazunu has spent the season on loan at Portsmouth, and his manager could not hide his disappointment at his exclusion.
"I don't know who makes those decisions. How?" he told Hampshire live.
"Just tell me how he didn't get in the team? Whoever picks it, I don't know, it is one of the most ridiculous decisions ever."
The Dubliner has been in fine form this campaign, notching 16 clean sheets from 42 appearances.
Gavin Bazunu described by his Portsmouth captain, Clark Roberson:
“Gav has been different class… He almost plays as a third centre-back behind us. On the ball, shot stopping, everything about him is just different class.”
Here’s why ????

His performances have gained acclaim from home and abroad, with his current captain very vocal on such.
“Gav has been different class", Portsmouth captain Clark Robertson said.
"He almost plays as a third centre-back behind us.
"On the ball, shot stopping, everything about him is just different class.”
The only Irish inclusion in the team was veteran James McClean.
