F1 mind games beginning to surface

Red Bull have insinuated that pressure is the main contributor for Ferrari's mistakes in Imola.

In the aftermath of a race to forget for Ferrari, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has had his say.

Asked if he thought Ferrari could beat Red Bull in a development battle, he told Sky Sports News on Sunday: "I don't think so.

"And what we saw was if we put real pressure on, they are making mistakes.

"You could see it... Leclerc spun in Friday twice, Sainz spun today, Leclerc again."

Ferrari had come into the weekend as favourites after their Australian GP showing.

Friday had started well, and confidence was high.

The weekend turned quickly, however, with rivals Red Bull gaining advantage in qualifying, the Sprint and the race.

Marko was not solely focusing on Ferrari with his comments though and he reserved attention for Lewis Hamilton.
