Wexford are expected to ratify Davy Fitzgerald as their new manager tonight.
The Wexford Echo report that the All Ireland winning player and manager will take over from Liam Dunne.
Davy resigned as Clare boss two weeks ago when a general consensus arose among players that a change of management was needed for the following season.
Current Wexford manager, Liam Dunne, has completed a five-year-term in the role, but is expected to vacate the position in the coming days - despite undergoing an interview to renew his tenure.
It is not yet known whether Donal Og Cusack will be joining Davy Fitz - in what will become his third senior managerial spell.
