Slieverue's Craig Breen has secured a seat for all 18 rounds of the World Rally Championship next year.
However, having been at Citroen and Hyundai, the multiple podium finisher will be racing in an all-new Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 car next year, as part of the British-based M-Sport team.
Breen has recently secured podium finishes in Estonia, Belgium and Finland and he sits sixth in the chamionship standings.
Despite this, the 31-year-old has only competed in five WRC events in 2021, fighting with Dani Sordo under a 'horses for courses' for the third card under the Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT rally team.
This new signing will allow Breen compete in all of next year's rounds of the WRC, and with only one finish outside of the top four in his starts this season, the Waterford man will be hoping he can fight for a World Championship title.
