Liam Cahill has left his role as Waterford's Senior hurling manager after three years.
The Deise's county board has just released a statement with the news while thanking him for his efforts over the last three seasons and wishing him well in the future.
Cahill has been heavily linked to the vacant Tipperary job, his native county, after Colm Bonnar left his role yesterday.
Colm Bonnar said he was extremely disappointed at being relieved of his duties as Tipperary hurling manager.
The County Committee called time on his tenure last night, one year into a three-year term.
Bonnar said he had plans in place for 2023, with the County Board aware that the Premier hurlers are in a period of transition.
