Blow for Kilkenny ahead of Leinster Championship campaign

It's been reported Kilkenny's Richie Hogan will be out for up to 2 months due to a broken hand.

The former Hurler of the Year suffered the injury while playing for his club Danesfort at the weekend, in which was taken off at half-time.

In what could be a further blow to the Cats, Ballyhale's Michael Fennelly added to his injury woes in the same game, as he pulled up with a hamstring injury, the extent of which is not yet clear

Kilkenny are already missing James Maher and Ger Aylward for the Championship campaign.
