Ada Hegerberg has had yet another phenomenal year in soccer and topped it all off to be crowned the first-ever winner of the women's Ballon d'Or.
The moment wasn't as bright and shiny as the trophy, however, as French DJ Martin Solveig asked Hegerberg if she knows how to twerk?
Absolute trash: French DJ Martin Solveig asks Ada Hegerberg to twerk after receiving the first women's Ballon d'Or award. (Love her response, though.) This is the crap female athletes deal with on a daily basis around the world.pic.twitter.com/y2TLe3v4u9

The bizarre moment captured on video with people on Twitter responding in their droves.
The 23-year old has a highly successful soccer career including scoring in the Champions League final and winning the French title with Lyon.
Hegerberg responded with a simple "no", attempted to leave the stage and then agreed to dance to another song.
Speaking to BBC Sport afterward, Hegerberg said it is a huge moment in her life.
"It is a fantastic day for women's football. It is historical and it is important to show young girls that they can believe in themselves and I hope they are inspired by this. They are the future.
Hegerberg said that she didn't consider it "sexual harassment".

"He came to me afterwards and was really sad that it went that way. I didn't really think about it at the time to be honest. I didn't really consider it a sexual harassment or anything in the moment.
"I was just happy to do the dance and win the Ballon d'Or to be honest. I will have a glass of champagne when I get back, yes."
Solveig took to Twitter to apologise.
Sincere apologies to the one I may have offended. My point was : I don’t invite women to twerk but dance on a Sinatra song. Watch the full sequence People who have followed me for 20 years know how respectful I am especially with women pic.twitter.com/pnZX8qvl4R

I explained to @AdaStolsmo the buzz and she told me she understood it was a joke. Nevertheless my apologies to anyone who may have been offended. Most importantly congratulations to Ada pic.twitter.com/DATdg0TfQk
