The Kilkenny and Waterford hurlers get their 2016 hurling campaigns underway this evening.
In the Walsh Cup Kilkenny host DIT at the MW Hire Training Centre in Dunmore, while in the Munster Hurling League Waterford make the trip to Mallow to face Cork.
Both games start at 7.30.

There's six matches in the Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup in Ulster.
In Section A a strong Tyrone side host Antrim in Omagh while Derry welcome Queens University.
In Section B Down try to avoid a third straight loss as they meet St Mary's in Newry while Fermanagh clash with a youthful Donegal in Brewster Park.
In Section C Cavan take on Monaghan at Kingspan Breffini park and Armagh play UUJ at the Athletic grounds.
All of those games start at 8.
