The community in West Waterford is in mourning following the death of a young man on the county's roads yesterday evening.
A car collided with a wall on the N72 at Ballygalane, Lower Lismore after it went on fire at half past six yesterday evening.
Gardaí say the deceased has yet to be identified but was the sole occupant of the car.
A forensic examination has been carried out and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
