A young man has been killed in a crash in Co Tipperary, after his car left the road and struck a wall.
Gardaí at Tipperary town garda station are appealing for witnesses to the single-vehicle crash at Lacken, Kilshane, Co Tipperary, on the N24.
Gardaí were called to the scene at about 4.40am today.
It is understood the car left the road and struck a wall. The driver and sole occupant of the car - a man in his 20s - was seriously injured. He was removed from the scene by ambulance to South Tipperary Regional Hospital in Clonmel.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
