A young Irish man has been killed in a hit-and-run in Canada.
The 24-year-old was struck as he crossed West 4th Avenue in Vancouver at 11:30pm on Sunday.
Police say the grey coloured car appeared to be travelling at high speed.
The young man died at the scene of the incident.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case and is providing all possible consular assistance.
