Met Éireann issued a status yellow wind warning for the entire South East yesterday.

The weather warning has been in effect since 5am this morning and is in place nationwide with southerly winds reaching mean speeds of 50 to 65km/h and gusts of 90 to 110km/h expected.

The weather warning is place until 4pm this afternoon.
However, the alert is set to be upgraded to orange from 11am for Donegal, Mayo and Galway, where coastal flooding is possible.
