A yellow weather warning is currently in place for the entire South East.
The rain alert came into effect at 5am this morning and also covers 5 other counties. (Kerry, Cork, Kildare, Laois and Wicklow.)
The warning will remain in place until 5am tomorrow morning and Met Eireann is warning of heavy rain and a chance of localised flooding.
And drivers are asked to take care on the roads with the heavy and persistent rain expected over the next 24 hours.
